Technical Training
This comprehensive 4-day course enables software developers to fully utilize the Jaspersoft v3.5 Business Intelligence (BI) Suite for integration into Java applications. Through a combination of lecture, hands-on exercises, and use case scenarios, participants will become proficient at advanced reporting and analysis with the Jaspersoft BI Suite.
Course Objectives
This course will enable you to:
- Understand the components of the Jaspersoft Business Intelligence Suite and Architecture
- Design and test reports in iReport, including reporting elements such as charts, images, sub-reports and crosstabs
- Host and maintain reports in JasperServer
- Set up and customize ad hoc reporting in JasperServer
- Manage security and scheduling in JasperServer
- Understand the process for building data extract, transfer and load scripts to build a datamart in JasperETL
- Create business analysis tools using JasperAnalysis
- Integrate JasperServer with third party applications using Web services and HTTP
